Gator Groundwork: Building the Skills to Lead the Pack

From the Chairman’s Desk…

Many 3rd Graders in our community are apt to be facing a dilemma soon! By Law, they are required to test on Grade Level in Reading and Math, or be tutored during the Summer to catch-up or repeat Grade 3 in the Fall.

Since more than half of the 3rd graders in our District are unlikely to meet this requirement, parents should be monitoring the academic progress of their child closely, so that help can be found immediately.

To address this perceived need, LSS is considering the formation of a tutoring program which could start soon. Let us know if you or others are interested!
